Principaux enseignements de cette 4e édition du Baromètre
La fréquentation des centres-villes est en hausse constante depuis 4 ans. Pour les Français il s’agit d’un « lieu de vie et d’échange ». C’est même devenu un « véritable réseau social du réel ». Côté attentes, ils souhaitent que leurs cœurs de ville soient dynamiques sur le plan commercial… Mais pas uniquement ! Ils veulent aussi un centre-ville actif au niveau culturel et touristique. Sans oublier les infrastructures d’accessibilité. Enfin les plus jeunes sont les plus nombreux à désirer un centre-ville connecté.
Les commerces de proximité ont la côte
A la question « qu’attendez-vous en priorité d’un centre-ville ? », la réponse la plus citée par les consommateurs consultés est « des commerces alimentaires » à 17%, devant « des transports en commun » et « des services administratifs » à 15%. A l’inverse, seulement 6% réclament davantage de commerces spécialisés, qui sont bien souvent des enseignes nationales ou internationales. Signe que le besoin de proximité et surtout d’authenticité est une tendance qui s’inscrit dans la durée, quand bien même là encore il ne s’agit que de déclaration d’intention, et non de consommation effective…
